I must pray for grace to direct and quicken me to, and to strengthen and assist me in, my duty, in the whole course of my life.

Let the grace of God, which has appeared, bringing salvation for us and for all people, effectually train us to renounce all ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright, and godly lives in this present age, waiting for the blessed hope, the appearing of the glory of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ, who gave himself for us to redeem us from all lawlessness and to purify for himself a people for his own possession who are zealous for good works.
